“Welcome beloved family! It is an honor to serve the Bay Area community in the rich legacy of the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi). As the founding home of ABPsi, our strength has consistently been rooted in our membership and innovative programming. My vision is to cultivate a multigenerational chapter that aligns with the mission of ABPsi while providing the community, “Everything African-Centered from the Womb to the Tomb.” I’m excited for the journey ahead as we strive for excellence and collaboration to achieve our goals together.”

We aim to support Black students with scholarships, travel opportunities and Jegnaship, to increase and strengthen the pipeline of Psychologists of African ancestry. Through community engagement, we create a network of professional members from diverse disciplines who are dedicated to fulfilling the mission and vision of The Association of Black Psychologists – The liberation of the African Mind, empowerment of the African Character, and enlivenment and illumination of the African Spirit.
